    Club Events The Board of Directors of the Polish Club of Atlanta is very thankful for your response to the Club’s appeal. Your continuous support and involvement will secure the Club’s future. The Polish Club’s existence, as a non-profit organization, is resting entirely on the dedication of many volunteers. According to the Club’s Bylaws from October 1999, as a non-profit organization, the Board of Directors is elected by the members of the Club for a term of two years twice renewable. The Board of Directors consists of: - President - Two Vice-Presidents - Treasurer - Secretary - Directors and Members of Various Committees - Immediate Past President - President Elect - Every Volunteer who actively supports the Club The election will be conducted and supervised by the approved by the current Board of Directors of PCA ,Nominating/Electing Committee, consisting of (alphabetically): Maryla Adamczyk Marzena Dudziak Barbara Leszczynski Anna Lech-Mlynarz Dorota Olson It is not too late to submit your candidacy.     About the club We are a non-profit organization focused on education and cultural enrichment. We operate within the metro Atlanta area. We run the Polish Saturday School for children and adults, where Polish language, Polish history and culture are taught. We have no political and religious preferences. We cooperate with the Chopin Society of Atlanta and the Polish Catholic Apostolate. We organize cultural and community events, and assist newcomers to Atlanta in settling down here. Our goal is to cultivate Polish spirit by nurturing Polish customs and traditions, passing them on to the future generations. ​ Vision Embracing culture, remembering history, and enriching souls. ​ Mission To promote ethnic and traditional values characteristic of the Polish-American community, to educate about Polish culture and traditions, to cultivate Polish language and to create common bonds and social interactions with other ethnic and cultural communities from around the globe. ​ Goal Bring our culture and history closer to our American neighbors.     Medical Emergency Procedures, Emergency Contacts, and Waiver of Liability Heading 2 It is mutually agreed that in the event of an accident or illness of my child while in the care of the teachers and assistants (the Staff) of the Polish School of Atlanta, the Staff should use their best efforts to contact the parents or guardians immediately. If the parents or guardians cannot be reached immediately, the Staff will use their best efforts to contact the emergency numbers provided by the parents/guardians (primarily the child’s doctor). In the event that a parent, a guardian, and an emergency contact are not immediately available, the Staff is authorized to provide such care as the situation may reasonably warrant. The parents and guardians agree that the Staff of the Polish School of Atlanta act in good faith to comply with the accident and illness procedures and that neither the members of Staff nor the School shall be liable for the accident and/or illness of the child. Any and all liability as might otherwise exist is expressly waived by the parent/guardian.     ELECTION 2021 RESULTS FOR THE POLISH CLUB OF ATLANTA BOARD The Polish Club of Atlanta would like to thank all Members and Sponsors for paying the membership dues and for voting in the Election for the Club’s Board. 110 Members (including Supporting Members, i.e. Sponsors) have joined the Club in the last 4 weeks. A total of 89 members casted a valid vote. Some voted over the internet, some voted via Proxy / Email, others voted directly at 2 polling locations: in the church in Lawrenceville and in the church in Norcross. ​ For the first time in the history of the Club we achieved an incredible result of the voters’ turnout - over 80%! You are definitively the best! 100% votes “FOR” the new Board! ​ WHAT'S NEXT? The General Assembly of all Members will take place when the financial documentation from the current Board is made available to the Election Committee. During the meeting the departing Board will present a report for its term of office. Members will vote to approve or reject the report. After accepting the report the new Board will automatically assume responsibility for the Club. We will welcome the newly elected Board. According to the Bylaws the new Board will include the President of the outgoing Board.     Election to the Polish Club of Atlanta Board ​ Dear Members, Sponsors and Supporters of the Polish Club of Atlanta! ​ ​ We would like to thank you for your trust and for paying the membership fee/donation to the Polish Club in Atlanta. We all care about continuing the Polish School, events supporting beautiful Polish traditions, exchanging experiences and information. It is not too late to pay the $25 membership fee and vote. Internet and proxy / email voting starts On November 5th at 8:00 AM and will run through November 14th till 10:00 PM We will vote for the new Board of Directors. We thank all 6 candidates.
