PolishFest

The Polish Club of Atlanta in cooperation with the SciTrek Museum in Atlanta is organizing a family day at the Museum, on Sunday October 19th from 12:00 to 5:00 pm. Polish artists and businesses will present their products and services. There will be great food, wonderful live music, and a chance to meet incredibly talented artists including jewelers, graphic designers, painters and others. All of the products exhibited at the fest will be for sale. Also, there will be lots of activities for children and teenagers: crafts, story-time, face painting and lots of surprises. In addition, there will be many opportunities to win wonderful prizes.

On the same day, the SciTrek Museum will be hosting the Microsoft 1903 Wright Flight Simulator in celebration of the 100th anniversary of powered flight. With a vivid, interactive computer simulation of the Wright Brothers’ 1903 flight, the Simulator allows virtual pilots to go back in time and relive a pivotal moment in the world history.

The admission to the PolishFest is free, and everyone who visits the fest will get a discount for the Museum: $6.00 for children and adults versus the regular price of $7.50 for children and $9.50 for adults (3 and under enter free). Additional parking fee is $5. The SciTrek Museum is located at 395 Piedmont Ave. Atlanta, GA 30308, phone: 404-522-5500.
