Polish Club of Atlanta e-mail List
Sign-up Procedure

The Polish Club of Atlanta maintains the community@polishclubofatlanta.org e-mail list. The list is used for quick dissemination of Club information and forwading of e-mails from private persons after meeting all requirements specified in a separate document that may be found here.

Anybody may sign up on the e-mail list and Club membership is not required. We only ask that in addition to providing your e-mail address you list your first and last name. They will only be used for identification purposes. The information from the e-mail list will never be provided to a third party.

We would like also to inform you that the only file attachments that we will be sending to you are PDFs. This information may be useful to protect you in case you receive an e-mail that appears to be from the Club but the sender's address is in fact spoofed and the attachment may contain a virus.

Below there is a link to a separate page with a sign-up form. This form will look much different from our typical webpage. The reason is that the from will come from our server and some of its details cannot be set by us. On this form please put the following details:

  • The e-mail address that you want Club e-mails to be sent to.
  • First and last name.
  • The next field is for your password. Giving it is not necessary and please don't use any of your valuable passwords used in other places.
  • Next, you need to choose if the e-mails to you are to be collected and sent no more than once per day in digest mode or every Club e-mail should be sent separately. We point out that selecting the digest mode will delay e-mail sending for up to a day and therefore this may not be an attractive option to you.

After filling all the necessary information click on the "Subscribe" button. Soon you will receive an e-mail in your mailbox saying that you have been signed up on the list. However, before you become active, you must reply to this e-mail. Please do this by clicking on "Reply" and "Send" without adding any additional data.

You can use this procedure to sign up others beside you. The only requirement is that they reply to the first e-mail acknowledging that it is their will to be on the list.
