Basic information about Polish Club of AtlantaWho
we are? The
Polish Club of Atlanta is a non-profit organization with educational
goals for all persons of general public interested in learning about
Polish Americans, their culture and history.
We operate in the metro Atlanta area. The
Club does not have organizational ties to any other organization, but we
cooperate with Chopin Society of Atlanta, Polish Apostolate, High Museum
of Art, SciTrek, PACC and other organizations.
Our
Mission… To promote ethnic and traditional values characteristic to the
community of Polish-Americans, to educate about Polish culture and Our
goals… The
main goal of the Polish Club of Atlanta is to support Polish Saturday
School for Children and Adults, where real teachers teach Polish
language and a little bit of Polish history. We
help the community acclimate to the United States by providing
information and teaching English as a second language to adults. We
would like to keep the Polish heritage alive among members and to pass
on Polish traditions, language, and culture to our children, so they can
draw strength from all available sources and become honorable members of
the American society when they grow up. We would like to
spring up on the cultural and ethnic map of Atlanta and represent the
community well. We
would like to raise awareness among our American neighbors.
We hope that thanks to the knowledge they learn, they will learn
to respect values we as Poles represent: strong family ties, deep
loyalty and friendship, love for traditions, respect for education and
honest life, disregard for wrong doing and above all deep love for
freedom. If
our goals are important to you, please sign up for the Polish Club of
