1. The Club offers ad placement on the www.polishclubofatlanta.org website.

2. Terms and conditions

• The ads are placed only on the website navigation pages (as defined below).

• The Club will not accept ads of political and questionable nature.

• The total number of available slots is 20 and this includes 6 prime slots (to be defined later). The non-prime slots are available only if the prime slots are all taken.

• There is a rotation of ads in both the prime and non-prime groups every month. This provides an image of freshness and facilitates equal treatment among advertisers.

• An ad placement is available for a fee specified in the table below (entry 4).

• The time limit on an ad placement from one adveriser is 6 months. The limit is applied when there are other advertisers waiting to place ads.

• The Club reserves the right to move an ad from a prime slot to a non-prime, if there are Club events to be advertised. Since the non-prime slot is less expensive, the affected advertiser will get extra advertising time or an adequate money refund.

• The ad already placed on the website may be removed if it becomes apparent that it violates the ad placement rules. In this case the advertiser will receive a money refund for the current and following months only.

• The fee for the first month is higher due to the extra work associated with ad processing.

• The ad placement can be extended provided there is nobody waiting for a slot in a group. The extended ad is not guaranteed to get the prime slot.

• The placement can be extended only before ad expiry. Otherwise the ad is treated as a new one.

• The Club reserves the right to format the ad.

• The maximum size of an ad contents is 400 words.

• Free ad corrections are available during the first 10 days of its placement on the website.

• The rules for ad placement can be changed with a 2-month notice.

Definition of terms:

• The navigation page contains the website sections links in places other than the page header and footer. Typically it contains only a short description of an article or information that is contained on a different page. The right column of the navigation page is dedicated for the ads in a form of graphic or picture. After clicking on the ad, a new webpage is presented with expaded ad information.

• Prime slots are the top six ad windows. The windows are visible immediatedly after web page downloading to a computer with the XGA display and full screen browser mode. The non-prime slots are the windows below the prime ones; they are visible after scrolling down the page.

3. Technical requirements.

The ad consists of two components: a graphic or a picture being part of the navigation page and the text that is seen after clicking on the picture.

To place an ad please provide:

• An electronic picture and eventually the text to be superimposed on it or

• The ready to use ad graphic or picture having 150x75 pixel dimensions (width x height). If the ad is to appear in two languages, two pictures/graphics may be needed. You can also include a larger picture for the ad information page. The larger picture should have a width of 150 pixels and up to a 500 pixel height.

• The text for the information page (sent as a Word file). An acceptable formating is bold, italic, underline, table, hyperlink, font size 12 (first line), 10, 8.

4.    Price list:

In the case that an ad in one language appears in a prime slot and the same ad in another language appears in a non-prime slot, the price for the ads will be calculated as the average between the two.
